The project partnership consists of one local and two European partners. The coordinating organization is the Turkish Society of Microbiology, and the project partners are the University of Minho from Portugal and the University of Granada from Spain.

University of Minho: It is a public university that offers a wide range of educational programs and conducts research in various fields. It includes faculties and institutes such as the Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Sciences, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Economics and Management, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Nursing, Faculty of Psychology, Institute of Social Sciences, Institute of Education, and Institute of Arts and Humanities, among others. The university was established in 1973 and has been conducting relevant research since its founding. The University of Minho's interest in the field of biosafety has increased significantly in the last decade.

Activity Areas in This Application: The University of Minho has been involved in biosafety-related research and numerous Erasmus+ projects. The university serves a broad student population, including undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students (from young adults to adults of all ages). The student age groups range from 18 to 35.
